Rancho San Antonio
this morning we went with our friend Darlene for a nice long hike at Rancho San Antonio. it was a lovely day, albeit windy and the air chilly. we'd like to make this a weekly hike, weather permitting.
here are a few pictures Darlene took of the trail we walked.
it took us 55 minutes to get to the top of the trail, and 50 minutes to get back down. here's a view from the top of the trail's Vista Point, Dave getting all smoochy with me...
if you look carefully in the background, you can see Hangar One at NASA's Moffett Field in Mountain View.

I miss going to Rancho San Antonio. We had some good hikes there for many years. We have not found a place like Rancho here. So for exersice we go to the fitness club every week morning to start the day. We are lucky that it's only 5 minutes from our place.
i remember how we used to go to Rancho almost every Sabbath afternoon when i first got here. it was Dave's first time on Friday. we're going to try and go at least once a week.
